The ABS system is a key part of your vehicles safety systems and should be addressed as soon as possible. The way the system works is by measuring the speed at each wheel as well as the steering angle and start to brake the wheels that have traction under breaking and even turning to stabilise the vehicle. The ABS pump will then apply cadence braking to prevent the wheels from locking up there by maintaining control on the road. Remember the laws of physics apply and if it is not possible to correct the overall momentum you may find yourself is a spot of bother.
Have this system checked with a diagnostics tool to find the source of the error. Please do not ignore this warning light your life may depend on it is an emergency.
